On Melancholy Hill: Gene S.

[Residisi]

"What are you-" Gene said before being suddenly cut off as Santiago stabbed his foot once more and twisted him again, causing him to fall down on the ground. As he tried to get up though, he felt another huge weight on him as Santiago landed on his back, irritating him. However, he was faced with more humiliation as Santiago placed a cross on his face, as if he was saying that the power of God would slay him! "You....Idiot!" Gene screamed as he angrily grabbed the cross and started freezing it solid, growling as he did so.

"You! You foolish hunters really believe that I, Gene, can be slain by an imaginary God believed by you fools? No, I-" Gene was cut off short once again as the cross started suddenly emitting a large form of heat behind it, except that it was surrounded with strange flames, the kind that resembled fire, but wasn't it actually it. "Ureeeey!" Gene shrieked as the fire started melting his hand and burning his face as well, causing his body to start moving like a beast as he jumped off the ground with all of his strength, enough power to toss Santiago aside and let him escape. 

He then stood in the barn, covering his face as he angrily snarled towards Santiago and Leonard. "Y-You.....You disfigured my face!" He shouted as he gave the two a stare of hatred and contempt. "Die you swine!" He cursed as he looked at a nearby flaming zombie and angrily kicked it towards Santiago, using it as a living projectile. 

Meanwhile, the female vampire grinned as it tried to devour Gavlan once more, but the hunter merely grinned behind his helm as he took out a flintlock from his pocket and shot her in the stomach, causing her to halt her attack and look at the hole in her stomach, which was strangely burning. "Hmph. Your master is the only reasonable challenge here. It's really, really over. You can't fight us on your own like this...." Gavlan said as he holstered his pistol, due to the time it would take for him to reload it. "...But, I'll end your suffering..." He said as he started walking towards her, while the zombies, what little remained of them anyways, kept assaulting Vincent.

Santiago easily ducked underneath the zombie, causing it to crash through the side of the barn. Santiago would notice that much of the barn was on fire at this point. "So much for not burning down the place...", he muttered. He stepped forward, walking slowly towards Gene.

[Residisi]

Gene, enraged by Santiago's evasion, tried to punch his only good arm, thus preventing him from fighting at all. However, he chuckled while doing this as his only good eye excreted another violent gush of liquid, headed straight for his foe's cheek. Gavlan meanwhile laughed as the female zombie tried to attack him in all ways possible, but due to him keeping his distance, he remained unharmed. "Come on now! Is this really what you've got? Alright then, time to end this...." He said, before Shannon grinned as she ejected her teeth from her mouth, sending them flying towards Gavlan! "W-What?!" Gavlan grunted as he blocked the blow just in time with his hands, which were however pierced by the sharp canines in the zombie's mouth. Shannon however took advantage of this and started grappling Gavlan. Despite not being a full vampire, she was still a zombie, a being with strength superior to a normal human. "Ugh....This is better..." Gavlan said as he painfully held her back, while the female zombie grinned and planned to finish him off.

Santiago stepped to the right, narrowly avoiding the gush of liquid. This also worked to his advantage as, though he didn't stop the punch, Gene's fist connected with Santiago's plate armor. It still hurt, of course, and it left a small dent, but it didn't put him out of commission. Santiago, now in close range, stabbed Gene in the neck with his sword (although it was no more like a long knife, since half of it had been snapped off while blocking Gene's earlier liquid attack). He sent Spin through his sword, causing it to violently tear apart Gene's neck, momentarily ruining his vocal chords. "Ludwig! Do something!"

[Residisi]

"Araghg....." Gene moaned, as he weakly gripped Santiago's chest as his entire body started slowly freezing, piece by piece. Within the next ten seconds or so, his entire body would be just one, large block of ice, which might spell his demise.

[Frozen]

After dealing with any remaining zombies coming to attack Leonard, he reformed his mace into a perfect sphere, and attaches it to Gethsemane. He brings it up, and dashes towards the vampire!

With power that even Santiago could feel, not even being under the attack, Leonard smashes the stone over Gene, as soon as Santiago's entire body would freeze, apart from his head.

Gene didn't even scream as Leonard hit him right in the chest with what looked like a gargantuan hammer, sending him flying through the barn, breaking through it as he fell on the ground, severely wounded from the blow. The wound could be healed, but it needed time, time that Gene didn't have right now. For the first time in this vampiric life, he started feeling strange things, such as worry and nervousness, and maybe even, fear. "H-How could I, Gene, be tossed around by such trash?! This is below me!" He thought as the grass near him started freezing and he started grinding his teeth.

Meanwhile, the barn started burning down due to the assault of the burning zombies and Gene's own use of his servants. The hunters still remained within it though, with Vincent fighting off the remaining, fiery zombies and Gavlan still struggling with Shannon. However, he wasn't yet defeated, and he showed that well due to his peculiar laughter during the power struggle. "Heh! You're quite strong! But..." Gavlan said as he suddenly grabbed the zombie's arm, moments away from the zombie about to slash through his armor with her hand. "...I win." He said as suddenly, the zombie would find its arm stuck between the bars of a large object, which was a......wheel. The zombie was obviously puzzled at the appearance of such an odd object. It looked as if it was made of steel, and her hands were stuck between the bars, but it didn't matter! She was a zombie! She could cut through it and kill Gavlan! She didn't care where it came from!

And yet, she couldn't. She couldn't cut it no matter how hard she tried, and it weighed several times more than her own body! "Watch your step." Gavlan said, cackling as he kicked the wheel, causing it to rotate at an amazingly fast speed. Soon, Shannon was dragged inside the wheel and watched as her flesh started getting viciously torn apart into small pieces as she was ground into dust by the wheel's rotation and weight, even her bones forgotten. Soon, only a large pool of blood remained, as the wheel disappeared from existence.

"Well, that settles that! Now, good sirs! Anything I can help with?" Gavlan said, as he raised his arms, trying to be as friendly as possible.

When Vincent finished off the horde of zombies, he was relived to see that Gavlan had already slain the vampires. However, the barn they were all inside was still on fire, and was beginning to collapse. He quickly dashed towards the exit, attempting to escape before the building fell. When he made it outside, he waited for the rest of the hunters to come out as well.

"Uh...hello? Could someone help me?", Santiago asked. He was bound to catch a cold this way.

[Krew]

During the battle Krew was completely occupied by the horde of zombies, he had to keep faith that his allies could handle the Gene S. Once the zombies were dispatched he would hear the creaking and snapping of timbers as the barn was about to crumble over them. He looked around for his allies and would see Santiago almost frozen completely, immobile. Krew ran to Santiago to aid him. "Spaniard! Mein gott. Anyone else, make your way to me if you can, I'm going to use Legacy to protect from above!"

This was an option for those who wouldn't be able to make it out of the barn in time. Legacy emerged from Krew's body and poised it's wings protectively over Krew, Santiago, and anyone else who made their way to him.

[Residisi]

"Hmmm...I'll accept that invitation!" Gavlan said as he sprinted towards Krew and crouched under the range of his Stand. He didn't know much about it and had no idea about how it worked, but he entrusted Krew his life and hoped that he wouldn't disappoint him. Meanwhile, the dethroned vampire was now sitting in a field of frozen grass, angrily snarling as his vocal chords slowly healed, but to his displeasure he found out that the wound to his face would take far longer to heal, due to its uncertain nature. "Those fools.....Pitiful! All of them! How dare they dishonor I, Gene?! Those fools I converted weren't even capable of slowing them down! I shall be not taken lightly like a rat's piss on the street!" He said as he angrily punched the ground, shattering the frozen grass and leaving only some mud in the destroyed area.



"I'll kill you!" He screamed, but as he attempted to jump towards the burning barn, he slipped and fell on the ground, again. "W-What?! My legs..." He shouted as he slowly regained his composure and managed to at least lift his body in some sort of crouched position. "M-My head hurts.....I feel like I have nausea......How could I, Gene, feel sick right now?!" And in that moment, Gene remembered the impact of the blow from Leonard's hammer. It must have hurt him more than he thought. "I-Impossible.....I....Gene, reduced to this....By one, mere attack?!?" He started cursing his fate, sluggishly standing up as he growled again with his traditional, vampiric snarl. "Uryyy....." He proceeded to contort his leg and limbs, slowly healing them as he marched towards the barn. "This is merely a setback! Soon, I, Gene, shall unleash untold pain and suffering to these hunters whom dared defy me!" He shouted as his steps gradually got heavier and start leaving an icy trail of frozen grass and flowers. As he reached the barn, he saw it about to finally collapse, meaning that the final battle would take place soon enough.

[Dark-sama]

Having also been dealing with the zombies while the others were dealing with vampires, Murphy noticed the collapsing building, Galvan, Krew, and Santiago.
Using Silverline, Murphy began to channel Hamon into the Spaniard from out of range, cutting past the ice so that the priest to heal him and prevent serious damage.
"Stay under there- I'll be outside and help dig ya out if it gets to that!"

[Krew]

The barn collapses finally and Legacy formed a protective barrier, rubble would fall all around them but within Legacies range timbers would crash on top of the shield. Krew had to keep focus for the shield to remain long enough at the current size of it. When the barn was mostly collapsed Krew the rest of his stamina to have Legacy push the wooden beam and planks on top of the shield away so it wouldn't crash on top of them when the duration ran out. Krew was exhausted now and needed to rest, he stuck his sword in the ground and leaned on the handle. "Uugh. You guys will have to take it from here. Gotta finish off Gene."

[Residisi]

Gavlan stared in awe at Legacy's immense strength. It wasn't offensive in the slightest right now, but it had enough energy to completely shield them from the gigantic collapse of a barn, and that shouldn't be taken lightly in the slightest. "Indeed, you've done us a great service! We'll be sure to make your efforts not in vain." He said as he stared at Gene, whom was staring at the hunters from a distance. "Time to end this, I suppose. Gentlemen? Anyone willing to strike first?"

[Frozen]

Leonard was shocked at the defensive capabilities that Legacy contained, but that didn't stop him from forming a game plan.

"Gavlan, is it possible to form a giant cross symbol into the Earth using that wheel of yours," he inquires.
