Connor would take a look behind him, Seeing a white T-shirt flailing in the wind. He would begin to slow down.
Hopefully I won't appear so bad after I help this...
As he took a second look, he would see the enemy stand user from a moment ago closing in on his location.
I can't see his stand. I will pull back for now and make sure that guy doesn't get hurt. Otherwise I'll have to use Here and Now to deal with whatever he uses.
On that note, Connor quickly pumps his breaks in order to get closer to Dennis.

"Alright, cool! Looks like someone's responding to my message," Dennis thought, "Better stay cautious though. These guys' stands could all be really powerful."
Dennis put his makeshift peace flag down, and pressed the brake pedal even more. He steered his car off to the side, making his way to pull over and stop on the side of the road to (hopefully!) have a peaceful conversation. As he did so, he reached down to his belt and unclipped his gun holster to make for ready access to his weapon, just in case.
"Maybe now we can get to the bottom of things, and nobody will have to get maimed."

Connor would pull over to the side of the road as well, as he stepped out of the car he would begin to make his way over to the other racers jeep.
" Hey, got a flat or something?" Connor would say, clearly eyeing the stranger up and down.

Dennis would hop out of his jeep, chuckling at the stranger's comment.
"Nah, nothing wrong with her," he'll say, patting the door behind him. "Name's Dennis, by the way. I'm just wondering what's going on with you and those guys on motorcycles. Looked like a fight, got some history there?"

Connor shakes his head. "Nope, They just up and attacked me, So I decided to fight back."
Connor would look over at the jeep and nod "I like your ride, it's Fairly reliable." Connor would extend his hand, clearly wanting to shake Dennis' hand "The name is Connor."

Dennis shakes Connor's hand, and looks ahead on the road to the other racers.
"Nice to meet you, Connor. So... do you think anyone else is going to join us back here? I was hoping to break up the fighting, but I'm definitely not itching to fall behind."

"I think you're right," says Dennis. "Maybe the others will be more receptive to a chat after we get past the checkpoint."
He would jump into his car, starting it up with a hearty roar of the engine but pausing to give time for Connor to do the same. If he wanted to ride together, that is.
"Let's get a move on, then!" he'll say, slamming on the gas.

Meanwhile, Reuben would pose a question to the others. "Of course, I'm a new addition to your guys party, unless you object to me being here, so I have to ask, did we know those guys or are they just random asshats?"

Connor would briskly walk over to his vehicle and catch up to Dennis. " If we end up getting split up, I'll meet you at the checkpoint!"

Samuel was silent, remaining in his car as he listened to the other two speak to each other. He remained still for only as long as it took for the other two to speak their names before he was off again, sighing and shaking his head. There was nothing interesting to him there, and so he might as well catch up to the rest of the drivers.
But first, he could have a little fun...
"「Dividing By Zero」, leave our friends a little gift."
A flurry of movement from his Stand's claw behind him and there was now a rift between him and the other two racers. He wasn't sure if they could see his rifts, but it would at least slow them down to avoid it. If they couldn't, they would drive straight through it and back to the last rift he'd made, a good couple of hundred meters away.
Grinning to himself, Samuel sped up, quickly gaining on the rest of the racers.

Grinding his teeth, Marq would finally notice that Camille and the jerk in the jeep would backed from each other a while ago. That doesn't make him regret throwing the spike, though, because even if he would have felt bad, the spike was redirected through some punk-ass Stand using a portal of some kind! Still slightly focused on hating the driver's guts, he just tries to make sure he doesn't go for him or his friends again.
But then! The jerk in the jeep would create another rift behind him, in an attempt to mess with the two guys behind him, sending them back to wherever the other portal was! This would mean that, indirectly, Marq was being bombarded by the newly opened rift as well, forcing him to tilt his Shockwave to the side to dodge it! Damn this guy! He's putting down a lot of those portals... If I see him go for any more of my friends, it's lights out for him! Though, it'll be tough if he just keeps putting down this things. Maybe I oughta try to get to the checkpoint first, and go from there.
Marq deactivates 「Never Say Die」 and tries to keep up with the others.

While Connor began driving he could see some kind of hole in the air, Too close to stop his vehicule he would attempt to speed through it, putting him several feet behind the group.
" Damnit!" He says, As he punches his steering wheel in anger, And begins accelerating full throttle, Being rather reckless due to the constant curves on the road. He easily catches up to where he was before, driving past the rift this time.
I'll catch up to them soon, That rift wasn't there until that other jeep passed. I'll have to keep my guard up around him.
With that thought Connor accelerates even faster, pushing 300 km/h in an attempt to catch up to Dennis and the other driver.

Dennis, too, hit the portal before he was able to react. One second he was driving next to Connor, the next Connor had disappeared, and the next they were both something like 500 feet behind where they had just been!
Dennis yelled out to the other racer, "What the hell just happened?"
"If this is another stupid stand power, I swear..."

Connor would turn his head at the sound of Dennis' voice.
" I dont know if you know what a stand is, But I think that other jeep is using one to tear holes in space!"
Man, If he doesn't know what a Stand is he'll think im crazy...
